A few photos of places to visit

This site was created because of my interest in travelling around England and visiting places of interest, especially in the countryside.

I tend to go off for a drive when the weather looks good and just for a few hours, just to get out of the house and see something different than 4 walls.

With the type of weather we get, I think you will know the feeling.

I live on the east side of Manchester so a lot of my drives take me out for 30 to 50 miles from Manchester and sometimes a lot further

With modern roads you can be 45 miles away in less than an hour and a lot of the drives are easy to achieve within 2 to 3 hours and that allows for a few stops on the way to take in the scenery and stop for a tea or coffee

You can also suggest Drives Out, not just from the areas mentioned as I have plans to extend the site to cover more of the UK in the future.
